Best Places To Have A Milkshake In London
Milk was a bad choice. Ron Burgundy should have had one of the best milkshakes in London!
My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard.
I have Kelis running through my head every time I order a milkshake. Still, I remain undeterred such is my love for these flavoured milk concoctions.
I was pretty addicted to Nesquik as a kid (both chocolate and strawberry), but they don’t even come close to London’s best milkshakes. Here is my list of the very best places and restaurants serving milkshakes in London!
Oreo Freakshake – Maxwell’s Bar and Grill (review)
Not really sure I need to say much. The picture says it all really.
You’re drooling mate.
Peanut Butter Freakshake – Molly Bakes (review coming soon)
It doesn’t matter which form peanut butter takes form in, I will always choose it over everything else. Molly Bakes has a queue outside on weekends so I’m not the only one who thinks their freakshakes are ace.
Nutella and Oreo milkshake – Hache (review)
I like Nutella. I like Oreos. I really like the Oreo and Nutella milkshake at Hache. In fact, it’s still my number one milkshake in London (the burgers and chips are pretty good too).
The Nutella is so thick it can be a challenge just sucking it through the straw.
Rocky Road Milkshake – Burgers and Cocktails (review coming soon)
There’s very few occasions when being intolerant to alcohol works out (actually never). Well, this was one of those times, otherwise I would have ordered a cocktail (it’s in the name after all) and missed out on on this ridiculous looking milkshake.
There was a milkshake under the marshmallows and cream, you’ll just have to take my word for it.
Coconut shake – Kua’aina (review)
Like Bounty bars? Of course you do.
Imagine you blended the inside of a bounty bar and added milk and you have the coconut shake, served in a classic milk bottle no less.
Jaffa Cake Milkshake – Original Cripsy Co. (review coming soon)
Is it a cake? Is it a biscuit? Who the hell cares?! What I do know is that a Jaffa Cake milkshake just makes sense (Origianl Crispy Co. also top it with a solid Jaffa cake).
Ferrero Roche milkshake – Amigo Burgers
If there was such a thing as a posh milkshake, I reckon the Ferrero Roche milkshake would be it.
Pinky sticking out while drinking optional.
Peanut Butter Ice Cream and Strawberry – Bonfire Restaurant (review)
Aside from the cup being half empty (a metaphor for my outlook on life?) what was there of the peanut butter ice cream and strawberry milkshake was delicious. You could say I could have had another cup (to make up for the half filled cup they served me (let it go Tim already!)).
Cookie Dough Milkshake – Cookies and Scream (review coming soon)
Yup, actually cookie dough ball. I was actually at Cookies and Scream to try the ice cream sandwich.
Barry White was right;
I’ve heard people say that,
Too much of anything is not good for you, baby,
But I don’t know about that
Preach to the choir Barry, preach.
Cookies and Cream milkshake – Fatburger (review)
How do you make a milkshake better. By adding a whole load of whip cream to the top of course. And more.
Yup, Fatburger didn’t think a milkshake was calorific enough. Well I for one am glad they took this stance.
You’ll need this to cool down after trying the Fatburger death wings. Trust me.
Magic Star Wars Milkshake – Sblended (review coming soon)
Are Magic Stars underrated in the confectionery world? I think so. Sblended milkshakes are also awesome because of the film name references – love a good pun.
Salted Caramel milkshake – GBK (review)
For a range of the best milkshakes in London, head to GBK.
I can easily recommend their honeycomb or Oreo milkshakes, but if I only had to pick one, it would be their salted caramel (the Tunnock’s variety).
‘Biased’ I hear you cry! Maybe a wee bit of patriotism has influenced my final decision, but try it and I’m sure you’ll agree with me.
To go with that best milkshake, you must try the best burgers in London too.
